What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, EFTPOS, and direct bank transfers via PayID or BSB for your convenience.
Why are these events linked to a charity?
In WA, poker outside of casinos must be conducted as a fundraising activity. That’s why every event is run under a registered charity acting as the permit holder, with a percentage of funds from each game going directly to support their organisation.
When do I get paid if I win?
Winnings are paid out after the event once results are finalised. Payout methods may vary by event, but everything is handled clearly and promptly.
Is my money handled securely?
Yes. All funds are managed under a structured system with charity oversight, ensuring transparency and compliance at every event.
How is the tournament rake distributed?
A portion of each buy-in is allocated as part of the event structure. 5% of all tournament funds are directed to the partnered not-for-profit charity, with an additional percentage going towards running the event. Full breakdowns are always clear before you play.
Can I get a refund once the tournament has started?
Once the tournament has begun and your stack is in play, buy-ins are generally non refundable, regardless of the circumstance. Any exceptions are at the discretion of the Tournament Director.

What permits or approvals are required?
The club (as permit holder) is responsible for applying for and holding the relevant permits where required. We provide guidance and support throughout this process to make it straightforward.
What involvement is required from our club?
Minimal involvement is required. The club must:
  • Nominate a representative to attend events
  • Oversee funds on behalf of the club
  • Handle permit applications and reporting
  • We manage all event operations, including setup, players, and logistics.
Do we need to run or manage the poker games?
No, we handle the full operation of the event. Your club simply oversees the funds and receives the allocated fundraising contribution at each venue.
How does the club make money?
The club receives:A percentage of event proceeds and additional revenue from food and beverage sales (if hosted at your venue). This creates a consistent, recurring income stream.
Where do the funds go?
All allocated proceeds are directed to the club and must be used to support and improve the organisation (e.g. facilities, equipment, programs).
What are the risks to our club?
  • The model is designed to be low-risk:
  • Fully structured and compliant
  • Professionally operated
  • No upfront investment required.
Do we need to provide a venue?
Not necessarily, there are two options. You can host events at your venue (with the added benefit of food and beverage revenue), or partner as the permit holder only, with events run at other locations. We’re always happy to give your venue a go and see how it performs.
Do we need to promote the events or post on social media?
No, there’s no requirement for your club to handle any marketing or promotion. We take care of player turnout and event visibility. If you’d like to support or share the events through your channels, you’re more than welcome to, but it’s completely optional.
